Investigator Thomas Vanthof is a 19 year member assigned to the Criminal Investigation Section at the Zone A substation. He has been a NYS certified Firearms Instructor for 12 years and is responsible for the firearms instruction for the members of the SWAT Team of which he is the Training Coordinator and the department.

Deputy Juan Ruiz is a 17 year member assigned to the Criminal Investigation Section at Headquarters. He is a NYS certified Police Instructor and is responsible for the coordination of the Home Firearms Safety Course and the Pistol Permit backgound investigations on applicants.

Deputy Charles Campanella is a 14 year member and is assigned to the Road Patrol Community Services Section as a DARE Officer. He is a NYS certified Firearms Instructor and a member of the SWAT Team assisting in firearms training for the department and the SWAT Team.
