  Common Phone Scam

If you receive a telephone call from an individual claiming to be a phone service technician and that individual asks you to press nine (9), zero (0), and the pound (#) sign, DO NOT COMPLY. By doing so you give the requesting individual full access to your telephone line, which enables them to place long distance calls billed to your home phone number.

DO NOT press (9 - 0 - # ) for ANYONE
